21 Feb 2008 TwitterDroid lets you read and publish to your Twitter, it’s a kind of port of Twitterific, the excellent application for MacOS X.
TwitterDroid 0.1.2 is an early alpha stage software but it’s already functional — you can read the latest 20 tweets from your friends and publish a post to your own timeline. The app still lacks configuration, robustness and notifications. Anyway. it's worth trying.

CANNOT install successfully
Hi,
I use following command "adb install TwitterDroid_0.1.2_alpha.apk" to install TwitterDroid_0.1.2_alpha to Android (M5rc14). Then, I use "adb shell" to login Android Linux system to check avibility. I can find "TwitterDroid_0.1.2_alpha.apk" in "/data/app". But I cannot find the twitter application in the "desktop"->"All".
I tried HelloActivity using the same way. It works. Does it mean that this Twitter application cannot work with the latest Android (M5rc14)?
